Grid Entertainment has unveiled its next-generation trainees, officially kicking off a bold rookie project that’s already turning heads.
On June 29 at 7 p.m. KST, Grid Entertainment will drop the first teaser for its documentary series 'Idol Till I Die,' which follows the trainees’ growth from the inside.
Ahead of the teaser, individual clips featured Chai Jinxin — an alumnus of Mnet’s BOYS PLANET and BOYS II PLANET — and Samuel, a German trainee, instantly drawing attention.
Currently studying business at the University of Hong Kong, Chai Jinxin stood out with a towering 188 cm frame and a noticeably more mature visual. Samuel, who began as a model in Korea, joined Grid Entertainment as a trainee to chase his idol dream. The short previews spotlight their passion for the stage and intense practice grind, raising anticipation.
'Idol Till I Die' is co-produced with content studio Black Paper, documenting trainees from diverse backgrounds — models, actors, dancers, and more — as they compete and grow toward debuting as one team. The series promises a candid look at the reality, worries, and challenges behind the glam of the stage.
The show premieres at 7 p.m. KST on July 6 via the YouTube channel Idol Till I Die and Mnet Plus, with new episodes every Monday at 7 p.m. KST.
