fromis_9 member Park Ji-won opened up about going a long time after debut without receiving any payouts.
On June 17, the YouTube channel Workman released a video showing Park Ji-won trying out bank duties. In the clip, she handled counter tasks and various support work, taking on a unique part-time job experience.
While on the job, Park chatted with a colleague in the supply room. As they shared snacks, the topic naturally turned to annual salaries. When the employee whispered their salary, Park reacted with surprise, saying, "You make good money."
When the employee asked, "Don’t you make two or three times more than me?" Park immediately waved it off. She responded, "What are you talking about? Up until last year and the year before, I was literally making nothing."
Park continued, "I had no income for eight years. I only recently started getting settlements. I’m finally saving properly now." The on-site staff were stunned to hear she had promoted for so long without income.
Meanwhile, fromis_9 was formed through the Mnet audition program Idol School and debuted in 2018. The group is set to make a July comeback with their second full-length album.
