CORTIS issued an official apology and addressed rumors after their late boarding for a Paris-bound flight inconvenienced fellow passengers.
On June 30, BIGHIT MUSIC stated regarding controversy from June 26, when the group boarded a flight to Paris: "Boarding was delayed due to traffic congestion caused by a car accident. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused to other passengers on the same flight."
However, responding to accusations spreading on social media and online communities, BIGHIT MUSIC firmly denied the so-called "nuisance" claims. The label explained that the situation being circulated about the group "staying on the bridge" actually referred to last October, when they returned from schedules in Japan and exited last only after all passengers had deplaned, taking a moment to organize their belongings. Allegations that they blocked foot traffic or changed clothes on the jet bridge are not true.
The company also noted that when CORTIS departed for Japan in May for 'KCON JAPAN 2026,' they boarded well before the cutoff time, so there was no late-boarding controversy then.
Meanwhile, CORTIS will launch their first tour, '2026 CORTIS TOUR,' from July to September across nine cities in Korea, North America, and Japan.
