SEVENTEEN’s brand-new unit V8 (THE 8, Vernon) is hosting a pop-up store to celebrate the release of their first mini album, ‘V8’—and the hype is already massive.
From July 4 to 9, V8 will run ‘[V8] POP-UP’ for six days at HYBE’s Yongsan headquarters.
The pre-reservation page that opened on the 30th of last month drew continuous global traffic, proving explosive interest from fans worldwide.
The pop-up space is designed to immerse visitors in the album’s core theme of “spent youth.” A massive media wall at the entrance will screen the title track ‘singasong’ music video. Props from the MV—including a sofa and RC cars—are displayed throughout, with a dedicated listening zone for the album and a graphic photo zone for must-snap moments.
In the merch zone, fans can grab four album goods—like a carabiner, incense holder, and card holder—and nine concert items, including a yo-yo and a tumbler. Apparel created in collaboration with Kazuki Kuraishi—plus caps and bandanas—was refined with input from the members for elevated quality.
Meanwhile, on July 2, V8 will appear on Mnet M Countdown to premiere their new-stage performance.
