First up, SEVENTEEN’s unit V8 swept global charts right after dropping their new release, while ENHYPEN grabbed attention with a Japanese single. Taeyeon and Choi Yoojung greeted fans with a remake project and a solo album, respectively, and AOMG’s first-ever girl crew KIVITS made their official debut—skyrocketing K-fans’ expectations.

SEVENTEEN unit V8 (The8, Vernon) made their comeback on June 29 with their first mini album ‘V8’ and title track ‘singasong.’

The8 and Vernon led the production, teaming up with global producers to craft an unpredictable chemistry. The release is already charting impressively worldwide. Title track ‘singasong’ shot straight to China’s QQ Music daily ‘Digital Bestselling Albums’ chart upon release, ranked No. 4 on Japan’s Line Music real-time ‘Top 100 Albums,’ and landed No. 5 on ‘Worldwide iTunes Albums,’ sweeping global charts.

V8 will premiere their new stage on Mnet M Countdown on July 2.

That same day, ENHYPEN released their Japanese digital single ‘We’ll Be Fine,’ continuing their close connection with fans.

The track captures the emotions you feel when heading out on a trip with close friends, painting a warm picture of friendship and excitement through the theme of travel.

The accompanying animated music video also drew eyes, featuring official character ‘Enchin’ zipping around Japan in place of the ENHYPEN members.

Known for its delicate portrayal of love and heartbreak, ‘Banquet Song’ is pulling strong interest across music platforms in its newly remade version. Fans are praising how Taeyeon’s unmistakable vocals and expression add a fresh layer of charm.

Title track ‘Secret Weapon (Perfect Target)’ spotlights Choi’s bright, positive energy. She also took part in creating the choreography, teasing a performance packed with her unique color and flair.

B-side ‘Still Cute?’ stands out with an upbeat house rhythm inspired by Shibuya-kei, candidly exploring the gap between how the public sees me and who I really am—and it’s already turning heads.
