Even amid skyrocketing ratings, actor Lee Jun-young is working nonstop right up until his military enlistment.

According to a JoyNews24 report on the 3rd, Lee recently decided through his agency Billions not to conduct end-of-series press interviews for JTBC’s currently airing Saturday-Sunday drama Reborn Rookie.

With his enlistment scheduled for the 21st, he chose to devote himself fully to the final stretch of filming for his next project, tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama Four Hands, Two Sonatas. As the first broadcast is slated for August 29, the production team and cast plan to pre-record the production presentation before Lee’s enlistment.

The currently airing ‘Reborn Rookie’ continues its hot streak, winning major love from viewers. Episode 10, which aired on the 28th of last month, hit a nationwide rating of 11.1% (Nielsen Korea), marking the show’s highest rating to date.

Amid the buzz, Episode 11 and the finale of ‘Reborn Rookie’ will air on the 4th at 10:40 p.m. and the 5th at 10:30 p.m., respectively. The broadcasts will also be available on TVING.
