Actor Lee Seo-an is going viral after the hit drama's success and a shocking twist about her past.
In a wrap-up interview for JTBC's weekend drama 'Reborn Rookie,' Lee shared her thoughts on the project and her goals as an actor. In the series, she delivered a compelling performance as Na Eun-se, the multifaceted youngest daughter of Taeha Group's Na Byung-mo (played by Jung Jae-sung), the wife of Kang Jae-sung (played by Jin Goo), and the Choi family's daughter-in-law.
"I used to mostly appear in episodic roles or cameos. This time, I took on a much bigger role and felt a strong sense of responsibility. I studied Na Eun-se in depth and put a lot of work into expressing her emotions," Lee said.
Before acting, Lee debuted as a member of the group SeeYa, then promoted with Co-Ed School and F-ve Dolls before transitioning into acting. "Debuting with SeeYa drew a lot of attention, but I didn’t have many chances to be in the spotlight after that. I’m grateful that this project has brought me back into the conversation," she shared.
Wrapping up, Lee said, "I want to be an onion-like actor — the more you peel, the more layers you find. I’ll keep broadening my spectrum with diverse roles and bringing viewers fresh surprises."
Netizens reacted, saying, "She really worked hard on her craft," "Great diction and great acting," "I’m officially a fan now," and "An acting powerhouse."
With this project, Lee Seo-an has cemented her presence with the public, raising expectations for her next moves on screen.
