Musical star Ock Joo-hyun, formerly of Fin.K.L, shared a calm slice of everyday life even as the 'Okjangpan' controversy flared up again.
On the 19th, Ock Joo-hyun uploaded photos and a video to her social media without any caption.
In the post, she browses a store selling ceramic tableware, enjoying some downtime. Wearing a pink printed shirt with a denim miniskirt, Ock Joo-hyun looked effortlessly relaxed while showing off long, toned legs and a healthy glow.
The update drew extra attention because it arrived just after the 'Okjangpan' debate resurfaced. The issue dates back to 2022, when Kim Ho-young wrote on social media, "'Asaripan' is old news. Now it's 'Okjangpan'." Many took the phrase as a jab at Ock Joo-hyun amid allegations of casting favoritism surrounding the musical Elisabeth.
As the fallout grew, Ock Joo-hyun filed a defamation complaint against Kim Ho-young, but later withdrew it following senior colleagues' mediation. Recently, however, she told fans she never received a sincere apology from him, saying she regrets dropping the complaint and urging Kim Ho-young once more to clarify his stance.
So far, Kim Ho-young's side has not released any official statement.
Meanwhile, after her Fin.K.L years, Ock Joo-hyun transitioned to musicals and has remained highly active, starring in numerous productions.
