Controversy over Click-B alum Kim Sang-hyuk repeatedly bringing up his divorce has reignited — and his ex-wife, Song Da-ye, is pushing back. After Kim was teased to appear on broadcaster Jang Sung-kyu’s YouTube channel, Song publicly voiced her frustration.
Recently, Jang Sung-kyu’s YouTube channel uploaded a Shorts teaser for Kim Sang-hyuk’s appearance. In the clip, Jang referenced Kim’s past and shared anecdotes related to his ex-wife, with on-screen captions like "Divorce behind-the-scenes."
Song Da-ye expressed strong displeasure on her social media. "Every time my ex-husband goes on a show, the divorce talk comes up again, and unwanted articles keep coming out," she wrote. "I’ve had to go through this every few years." She continued, "Even if someone isn’t mentioned by name, if the other party is uncomfortable, shouldn’t you be able to request an edit? I let it slide at first, but as it kept happening, I couldn’t endure it anymore."
She added, "I have repeatedly asked on multiple programs not to bring up the divorce or mention me. Now, even recalling that period is painful for me."
Did her message reach Jang’s team? As of the 10th, Kim Sang-hyuk’s teaser Shorts has been set to private.
Kim Sang-hyuk and Song Da-ye married in 2019 and divorced in 2020.
