Comedian Kwak Beom sparked laughs with a candid take on his wife and family life.
Appearing recently on singer K.Will’s YouTube channel, Kwak opened up without filters about marriage, parenting, and his daily life with his wife. Married for over a decade, he revealed, "My wife monitors all my content," adding, "She gives detailed feedback on everything—from how I act on air to my tone and facial expressions," drawing laughter. He also confessed that "if I exaggerate even a little when talking about my wife, she notices right away, and we end up clashing for a while," offering a very real glimpse into married life.
Above all, Kwak repeatedly praised his wife’s beauty. "I’m not exaggerating—she’s truly a stunner," he said, explaining his own litmus test: "When someone is really pretty, women notice before men and start whispering." He recalled that even back in school, she was widely recognized as an objectively beautiful girl.
But at home, reality plays out a little differently. "Our daughters tell their mom she’s been beautiful her whole life, but they won’t even throw me a pity ‘You’re handsome,’" he said with a wry smile. On their daughters’ looks, he joked, "The younger one takes after my wife, and the older one takes after me," earning laughs.
Toward the end, he reflected on the circumstances around their wedding. "We didn’t have much, and I felt really sorry to the people around us," he said. "But even with nothing, I had one conviction—that we would make it. And that belief got us here," he shared, drawing attention.
Meanwhile, Kwak Beom married his wife in 2013, and the couple has two daughters.
