Actor Kang So-ra shocked fans by candidly revealing her strict self-care routine and diet secrets.

On the 16th, Kang appeared on Urban Zakapa member Jo Hyun Ah’s YouTube channel and opened up about her eating habits and how she maintains her weight.

“As I get older, I can’t drop weight in a day like I used to,” Kang admitted. “If I gain, it takes about two weeks to get back to my usual shape,” she said, striking a chord with viewers.

What really caught attention was her diet. “I eat vegetables like they’re rice,” Kang explained, saying cabbage and broccoli are her staples. She added, “I pair side dishes with vegetables,” noting, “I pretty much eat broccoli by the bowl.” She avoids noodle dishes as much as possible and keeps her weight steady with a vegetable-centric diet. She also prefers blanched or steamed vegetables over raw, “because they keep me full longer and feel easier on my stomach.”

Kang stressed that management goes beyond diet to lifestyle as a whole. “In the end, the key is time and cost,” she said, sharing that she consistently combines dermatology treatments, home care, and exercise. She used to do Pilates almost every day, and lately she’s been focusing on gym workouts to build stamina. However, she noted she sometimes adjusts intensity so added muscle doesn’t affect filming.

Standing 168 cm tall, Kang previously cut her weight to 48 kg and is known for steadily maintaining her figure.
