Eighteen powerhouse actors are stepping onto an unpredictable, one-person-play stage for a once-only performance.
On the 21st, production company Brush Theater announced the opening of the second season of the play White Rabbit Red Rabbit and unveiled a star-studded cast lineup.
White Rabbit Red Rabbit boldly breaks modern theater conventions with its radical format. There is no director and no rehearsals. The actor taking the stage receives a sealed script for the first time in front of the audience on the day of the show and must build the play using only their quick wits and the audience's active participation.
What especially turned heads was the addition of trendsetting stars who move seamlessly between screen and stage. Sojin of Girls' Day and her husband, actor Lee Dong-ha, drew attention by joining the lineup. Also on board are Kim Kyung-nam, currently delivering a standout performance in the drama Shin-i-rang Law Office, and Ryu Kyung-soo, who left a strong impression through Our Unwritten Seoul, among 18 actors who will each headline a performance and showcase their singular charm.
With 18 actors of distinct personalities confronting raw, unrehearsed emotions onstage, anticipation is soaring for 18 uniquely colored nights.
Meanwhile, White Rabbit Red Rabbit—a once-in-a-lifetime fresh experience co-created by actor and audience—will meet viewers for its second season from May 27 to June 7.
