With military enlistment on the horizon, actor Lee Jae-wook candidly shared his acting philosophy and his drive to take on bold new challenges.

On the 22nd, fashion magazine Arena Homme Plus dropped his May issue pictorial and interview.

In the newly released photos, he grabs attention with a sharp buzz cut. Mentioning the upcoming ENA drama Doctor SomeBoy and the Netflix series Dead-End Job, he amped up anticipation for what is next. "I try not to be afraid of new attempts," he said. "I don't want to fail, but I'm working to keep the mindset that it's okay even if I do."

About Doctor SomeBoy, Lee said, "I believe it will deliver a powerful, heartwarming impact. It's the story of a doctor stranded on a remote island, but it deals with emotions we all feel every day," expressing strong confidence. He added, "I laughed and cried so much while filming," showing deep affection for the project. While noting "there isn't much I can share yet," he still urged fans to look forward to Dead-End Job.

Speaking on his values as an actor, Lee emphasized, "I think a good actor is someone who fulfills what the project asks for. It's more important to make the work shine than to make yourself stand out." He drew attention by saying he aims to be an actor who compels complete focus on the screen.

Meanwhile, Lee Jae-wook's full pictorial and interview can be found in the May issue of Arena Homme Plus.
