On the 24th, YTN Star reported that Cho Hyun-chul will join SBS’s new drama The Nightmare.
The Nightmare follows a vigilante group that locks irredeemable villains not in prison but inside their own nightmares, blurring the line between dreams and reality as they deliver a fantastical brand of justice. According to reports, in The Nightmare, Cho Hyun-chul will play Go Jung-hoon, the second son of a construction conglomerate chairman, injecting serious tension into the storyline.
Previously, Cho left a powerful impression on the public with his tour-de-force performance as deserter Jo Seok-bong in the Netflix series D.P.. He also proved his prowess as a film director, sweeping both Best New Director and Best Screenplay at the Blue Dragon Film Awards, cementing his status as a true all-rounder.
