Rapper BIG Naughty took fresh aim at Swings, then appeared on a live radio show where he indirectly addressed the growing controversy — and grabbed everyone’s attention.
On the April 23 broadcast of SBS PowerFM 12si-en Joo Hyun-young, BIG Naughty, pH-1, Lil Boi, and Woody Gochild guested together. When a listener joked, "I thought you were a rookie idol group. Who’s the visual?", the guests started assigning themselves roles.
Introducing himself, BIG Naughty said, "I’m the troublemaker." The others volleyed back with quips like "the center of buzz" and "mischief-maker," cracking up the studio. Host Joo Hyun-young also teased his hairstyle, and BIG Naughty replied, "I’m growing it out, but I might have to shave it soon," creating a notably loaded moment.
Earlier on April 16, BIG Naughty released the diss track 'Industry Knows,' directly calling out Swings. The lyrics alleged issues over the sale of neighboring rights, conflicts after a failed recruitment, and even assault — setting off a major firestorm.
Swings immediately hit back via a livestream. Regarding the neighboring-rights sale, he claimed, "It was to protect artists’ earnings," explaining he executed a sale worth about 14 billion KRW to resolve distributor advance issues and distributed a significant portion to artists under his label. On the assault allegation, he argued, "BIG Naughty pushed first, and it’s on CCTV," asserting he was also a victim.
The clash didn’t stop there. On the 23rd, BIG Naughty countered again with a second diss track, 'On the Toilet.' Through the lyrics, he criticized Swings’s explanation for "dodging the core and muddying the issue." He also claimed the altercation happened at a concert after-party and demanded the release of the original CCTV footage.
As the back-and-forth shaking up Korea’s hip-hop scene escalates, BIG Naughty’s "I’m a troublemaker" line on radio has gone viral — and all signs point to this feud staying in the spotlight for a while.
