As the case moves closer to another hearing, Nana is choosing to speak—not to escalate, but to clarify.

Ahead of her scheduled testimony, the actress shared a brief but pointed message on social media, writing, “Something feels very wrong. If this is what the law says, I have no choice but to follow it,” before adding that she intends to “state only the facts as they are.” She also reassured fans with a simple note: “Don’t worry.”

At the same time, her words carried an edge directed at the accused, hinting at her awareness of how the situation has unfolded publicly and legally.

The case stems from a home invasion incident that took place last November at her residence in Guri, where a man in his 30s allegedly broke in, threatened her with a weapon, and demanded valuables. The situation escalated into a physical confrontation, during which Nana and her mother managed to subdue the intruder, leaving both sides injured.

As proceedings continued, the accused denied intent to commit robbery and instead filed a countersuit, claiming attempted murder and assault. Authorities later concluded that Nana’s actions constituted self-defense and chose not to pursue charges against her.

The case now enters another phase, with both Nana and her mother set to appear as witnesses at the upcoming hearing on April 21. The session is expected to be held behind closed doors.

Separately, Nana has filed a complaint for false accusation, signaling that the legal battle is far from over—and that her role in it is no longer just reactive, but active.
