Actor Kim Min drew attention after appearing as a ceremonial first pitcher, with renewed discussion around his resemblance to fellow actor Kim Sung-cheol.
On April 8, Kim Min took the mound ahead of the KIA Tigers vs. Samsung Lions game. Wearing a KIA uniform, he delivered a clean pitch that highlighted his tall frame and composed presence.
During the broadcast, a commentator noted that Kim Min “gives off a similar vibe to actor Kim Sung-cheol,” adding that he also bears some resemblance to Yoo Hae-jin, with whom he previously worked on the film The King’s Warden.
The KIA Tigers went on to defeat the Samsung Lions 15–5, and some fans dubbed Kim Min a “victory fairy” for his appearance.
Kim Min’s resemblance to Kim Sung-cheol has been noted before, with fans pointing to similarities in tone, speech patterns, and overall aura. The two are also alumni of the Korea National University of Arts, where they reportedly became close.
Meanwhile, Kim Min is set to continue his activities with the upcoming ENA drama Yeonae Baksa.
