Shocking—actor Park Jung-ah of girl group Jewelry set the internet abuzz by candidly sharing her take on marriage and divorce.

On the 6th, Park Jung-ah and Lee Ji-hyun appeared as guests on Seo In-young’s YouTube channel, sparking a rare, lighthearted reunion chat among the Jewelry members.

Bringing up her own divorce, Seo In-young asked Park, "Did you think I’d end up getting divorced, too?" Park cautiously replied, "I actually hoped you wouldn’t get married," then added, "Isn’t there a saying that for some married people, their lifelong wish is divorce?"—leaving everyone stunned.

As Lee Ji-hyun quickly jumped in, saying, "That’s a risky thing to say," Park clarified with a past anecdote. "Back when I was newly married and doing a musical, a teacher once said their 'lifelong wish is divorce.' I didn’t get it at the time, but as the years passed, I began to understand what that might mean," she confessed.

Park Jung-ah married pro golfer Jeon Sang-woo in 2016, and they have one daughter. Seo In-young and Lee Ji-hyun both married but later divorced and are now focusing on their own lives.
