Actor Kang Dong-won sent an open love call to BTS at the production briefing for the film Wild Things.
On the morning of the 7th at Lotte Cinema Konkuk University in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, the Wild Things production briefing took place. Director Son Jae-gon and the lead cast, including Kang Dong-won, attended the event.
Wild Things follows the comeback attempt of 'Triangle,' a once-viral three-member co-ed dance group that disbanded after an unexpected incident, as they challenge themselves again 20 years later.
Asked if there was an idol or singer he wanted to do a challenge with, Kang replied, "BTS came to mind. I'd be honored if they did it." Meanwhile, Oh Jung-se, who takes on the role of a ballad singer, said he hopes to collaborate with Sung Si-kyung, while Park Ji-hyun, saying she isn't well-versed in idols, chose not to comment.
In Wild Things, Kang plays Hwang Hyun-woo, the leader of Triangle and its former "dance machine." His on-stage singer role name-dropping BTS is already creating buzz both in Korea and overseas.
The film opens on June 3 and runs 107 minutes. It is rated 12+ in Korea.
