SEVENTEEN’s youngest member, Dino, is officially debuting his alter ego, Pi Cheolin.
According to PLEDIS Entertainment on the 11th, Pi Cheolin will release his first mini album, ‘Gilboard’, on August 3.
‘Gilboard’ reimagines the 1990s street “gilboard” culture by combining the hanja ‘gil’ (吉, meaning auspicious) with the English word ‘board’ (a stage or platform). The album carries the ambition to turn the streets into a stage that ignites nationwide excitement—and a wish for everyone’s life to be filled with good fortune.
Pi Cheolin is a character set as the head of leading music label BOMG and a warm‑hearted, hype‑driven producer. First introduced in SEVENTEEN’s 2021 fan meeting VCR, he has steadily earned fans’ love. With this first mini album, Pi Cheolin will work as a “producer of the streets,” sampling people’s stories with friendly nosiness and remixing them into music.
Anticipation is soaring for the campy, B‑grade aesthetic Dino will showcase as Pi Cheolin.
