IVE's label has vowed a fierce legal crackdown on malicious comments and content.

On the 12th, Starship Entertainment stated via its official social media accounts: "We are continuously taking legal action against individuals who create and distribute malicious content targeting our artists Ahn Yu-jin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Won-young, Liz, and Leeseo, including defamation, the spread of false information, sexual harassment, personal attacks, insults, invasion of privacy, and other malicious slander." The company stressed that such acts are illegal and will not be tolerated or justified under any circumstances.

The agency added that it "will show no leniency or exceptions and will hold all responsible parties to the fullest extent permitted by law," noting that, based on fan reports and internal monitoring, it has filed criminal complaints with investigative authorities against malicious posts across various platforms including TikTok and YouTube.

They further explained that the posts have been submitted as evidence in criminal cases regardless of whether they were deleted or set to private, or whether accounts were changed or deactivated. The company also said it has secured substantial evidence regarding the creation and distribution of malicious rumors and false information; posts that include mocking, derogatory, or sexual content; and manipulated materials such as deepfakes, and will intensify its legal response.

Meanwhile, IVE is currently preparing for their world tour 'SHOW WHAT I AM' and the 'IVE WORLD TOUR' stop in Macau.
