Singer-actor Kim Min-jong has slammed MC Mong’s claims and vowed a hardline legal response.
On the 19th, Kim Min-jong’s legal representative, OKIMS Law Firm, declared in an official statement, "All information about Mr. Kim Min-jong currently circulating online is clearly false," adding, "Malicious, defamatory reports are spreading indiscriminately."
They further stressed that "the psychological distress and the damage to the social reputation already suffered by Mr. Kim Min-jong, his family, and longtime supporters is severe." The firm warned, "After thoroughly verifying and organizing the facts, we will pursue all necessary civil and criminal liabilities," signaling imminent legal action.
This controversy erupted after MC Mong claimed on social media that there is a gambling group called 'Badugi' and mentioned Kim Min-jong as one of its members.
Kim Min-jong and his legal team reaffirmed they will respond aggressively to the private-life rumors spreading across online communities and social media.
