Wanna One returned to the spotlight with a buzzworthy reunion, fronting ELLE’s digital special project ‘ELLE D Edition’ as the June cover stars — a long-awaited moment for fans.
All nine members appearing on Mnet Plus’ reality show WANNA ONE GO : Back to Base — Yoon Jisung, Ha Sungwoon, Hwang Minhyun, Ong Seongwu, Kim Jaehwan, Park Jihoon, Park Woojin, Bae Jinyoung, and Lee Daehwi — took part in the shoot. Dressed in shirts, ties, and sharp suits, they showcased distinct charms with a mature, chic edge.
Shot against a white horizon backdrop, the spread moves between color and black-and-white cuts, stylishly highlighting each member’s individuality and appeal.
In post-shoot interviews, the members shared candid thoughts. Yoon Jisung said, “I hope people remember that as long as Wannables are with us, Wanna One can reunite anytime,” reaffirming his unwavering love for fans. Ha Sungwoon reflected, “While filming ‘Wanna One Go,’ I thought, ‘I’m breathing again,’” adding, “Wanna One is a special presence to me.” Hwang Minhyun confessed, “I have never once forgotten Wanna One.”
Ong Seongwu shared, “A lot of time has passed, but I’m grateful to the members for deciding to come together again. I’m happy we could reunite.” Kim Jaehwan emphasized the meaning of this comeback, saying, “Even if I didn’t show it on the outside, I always felt affection and longing for the members.” Park Jihoon added, “Those small moments of laughing and joking together became a huge source of healing.”
