Former CLC member and actress Kwon Eun Bin has left Cube Entertainment after a decade — and shocking reports now claim she plans to retire from the entertainment industry.
On the 22nd, Cube Entertainment announced on its official social media, "After long discussions, we have decided to conclude our exclusive contract with Kwon Eun Bin." The agency added, "We are deeply grateful for Kwon Eun Bin's dedication as one of the artists who represented Cube Entertainment over the past 10 years, and we sincerely support her as she embarks on a new path."
Amid this, news broke that Kwon Eun Bin intends to retire from showbiz. Media outlet MyDaily reported that Kwon Eun Bin has told those around her she has little intention of continuing entertainment activities. However, as this is not an official statement from her agency, it remains to be seen whether she will in fact retire.
Kwon Eun Bin debuted in 2016 as a member of CLC, gaining public recognition. She later appeared on Mnet's audition program Produce 101, boosting her profile, and expanded into acting while continuing team activities. In particular, since 2018 she has solidified her presence as an actress, appearing in dramas such as Bad Papa, At a Distance, Spring Is Green, and Check-in Hanyang.
