Actress Han Da-gam just dropped a viral bombshell — she’s 21 weeks pregnant with a baby boy after conceiving at 46 on her very first IVF attempt, and her ultra-disciplined routine has even doctors stunned.

On the June 3 episode of KBS2’s variety show The Return of Superman, Han Da-gam, now 21 weeks along, invited viewers into her daily life with “Chalteok,” the fetus’s nickname, marking a precious new chapter six years into her marriage.

“At 44, I decided I wanted a child,” Han revealed. “From then on, I prepared my body for two to three years.” She added, “I tried IVF at the end of 46 and got pregnant on the first try — I heard the good news at 47,” shocking everyone. Notably, she did not use the eggs she had frozen before marriage — a testament to years of steady preparation and self-care.

Her day-to-day is all about meticulous health management. During pregnancy, Han sticks to a nutrient-packed menu of dragon fruit, blueberries, Greek yogurt, eggs, olive oil, and acai berries. Sharing that she has followed this eating style for over a decade, she admitted, “Diet control is a battle with yourself. When cravings hit, I’ve even chewed a bite and spit it out,” leaving the cast speechless.

She also keeps up with exercise. Even at 20 weeks, Han went hiking with her husband. Still, she cautioned, “Not every pregnant person can hike. You have to adjust to your condition,” adding, “If you didn’t exercise before, lower the intensity.”

But the journey hasn’t been all joy. “At first, I was over the moon, but as time passed, fear crept in. Since I had no prior experience, I felt scared,” she confessed.

The show also followed the couple to the OB-GYN for a detailed ultrasound. On screen, Chalteok’s distinct features and strong heartbeat moved everyone. The medical staff remarked, “It’s rare to see such clear images at 20 weeks,” impressed by the baby’s health. The fetus’s sex was revealed to be a boy.

Watching the ultrasound, Han teared up. “Seeing ten fingers and ten toes made me realize I’m really becoming a mom,” she said, overwhelmed. “I never imagined I’d live to see a day like this.”

Han even asked about the possibility of a second child. The doctor replied, “At this level of care, a second or even a third is possible.” Han joked, “If you help me, I’ll try for the Guinness World Records before I’m 50,” making everyone laugh.

In closing, Han promised, “I’ll do my very best to stay healthy and take care of everything until Chalteok is safely born.”

Han Da-gam debuted in 1999 under the name Han Eun-jung and earned love through various roles. She changed her stage name to Han Da-gam in 2018 and completed her legal name change last month. In 2020, she married a businessman one year her senior and is due in September.
