Actor So Ji Sub is turning heads, teasing an overwhelming charisma reminiscent of the Hollywood action film Taken.
On the 5th, SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama Manager Kim unveiled its main poster, capturing the intense presence of code name 66, “Agent Kim,” and the tangled dynamics surrounding him.
The newly released main poster boasts blockbuster scale, featuring the core cast who will drive the story: led by So Ji Sub, with Choi Dae-hoon, Yoon Kyung-ho, Joo Sang-wook, Son Na-eun, Kim Sung-kyu, Lee Jae-yong, Won Hyun-jun, Park Jin-woo, Jo Bok-rae, Lee Dong-ha, Seo Su-min, and Yoo Ji-an.
Front and center, So Ji Sub heightens the taut tension as he aims a gun with steely resolve, even in a perilous situation, to save his only daughter, Min-ji (played by Seo Su-min).
The tightly woven web of relationships and emotional clashes around Manager Kim is equally gripping. With secrets and motives hidden, the cast’s piercing gazes foreshadow suffocating spy games and psychological warfare. Among them, Joo Kang-chan (Joo Sang-wook) exudes a heavy, foreboding aura, while Sang-ah (Son Na-eun) adds a subtle yet electric tension—stirring curiosity about what’s coming next.
The production team noted, “It’s a decisive shot that promises the birth of a blockbuster drama overflowing with cinematic catharsis,” adding, “Watch how the characters collide and intertwine when the show airs—we’re gearing up for a gripping ride.”
Meanwhile, set to premiere on the 26th, Manager Kim is a revenge-action blockbuster in the ‘dad universe,’ where the most ordinary father becomes the most dangerous man to rescue his kidnapped only daughter. The series will also stream worldwide on Netflix.
