MBC's horror talk show Midnight Horror Story is making a spine-chilling comeback with its sixth season.
On the 8th, MBC announced, "Midnight Horror Story will return as Season 6 with a fresh lineup for viewers," adding that the show will move from its previous Sunday slot to Monday nights, premiering on June 22.
Midnight Horror Story is a storytelling challenge program where viewers submit their own ghost stories and the cast brings them to life. Since its 2021 debut, each season has built a loyal cult following, with the fifth season wrapping in December last year.
This season reunites the MC team from last time. Kim Gu-ra, Kim Sook, Kim Ho-young, and Kim Ah-young are back for Season 6, promising even stronger on-screen chemistry. Expect the gripping immersion of Kim Ho-young, the sharp analysis of Kim Gu-ra, and the genuinely terrified, real-time reactions of Kim Sook and Kim Ah-young to create thrills unique to this new season.
The studio has also been revamped with an even eerier vibe. At the first recording, a mysterious 6-6-6 mark engraved at the center of the table immediately caught the cast's attention. Reacting to the set, they said, "This season feels ominous from the start," and "This is no joke," unable to hide their surprise.
With more powerful ghost stories, a freshly overhauled studio, and the beloved MC lineup, Midnight Horror Story Season 6 is set to deliver spine-tingling scares and addictive fun to Monday night viewers.
Meanwhile, Midnight Horror Story Season 6 will premiere on the 22nd at 10:50 p.m.
