Former Jewelry members Jo Min-ah and Seo In-young cleared years of misunderstandings and sat down for a candid heart-to-heart.
On July 1, Seo In-young uploaded a video to her YouTube channel showing her visiting Jo Min-ah's home. Over a shared meal, the two opened up about their days promoting as Jewelry and their true feelings toward each other.
The video also revealed the home where Jo Min-ah lives with her son. Impressed by the clean, chic vibe, Seo In-young asked, "Isn't this place expensive? Do you own it?" Jo Min-ah drew attention when she replied, "It's mine."
They then dove into memories from their Jewelry era. Jo Min-ah said, "I loved the time we spent in the basement practice room with the heater on even more than being on stage," adding, "In-young was bound to make it from back then. People only called her tough, but I found her so cute and always wanted to stay by her side." She also recalled meeting Seo In-young's mother: "She gave me some pocket money and said, 'Stay close with In-young. She's not a bad kid.' I decided I should be a good friend." Hearing this, Seo In-young teared up.
Seo In-young finally shared what she hadn't been able to say before: "Back then, my pride kept me from even saying I was hurt. After my parents divorced when I was in fourth grade, I lived thinking 'life is solo.' It felt burdensome when people approached me, and I wanted to be alone."
Jo Min-ah added, "When In-young wanted to be alone, I should've let her be, but I showed my hurt. I only expected the same affection back that I expressed. It's all fine now." The two calmly addressed past 'feud' rumors and the misunderstanding over not attending a wedding, and they have fully repaired their relationship.
