Rapper Simon Dominic revealed he was the victim of a shocking home theft involving a high-end watch.

On July 2, webtoon artist-turned-TV personality Kian84 uploaded a video featuring his close friend Simon Dominic to his YouTube channel. In the video, Simon Dominic invited Kian84 over to his home and shared life updates. Known for collecting items like sneakers, fragrances, and watches, Simon Dominic gave a relaxed tour of his place and chatted casually.

When Kian84 asked about the whereabouts of his pricey watches, Simon Dominic surprised viewers by saying, "All the expensive ones are in a safe now. I won't even tell you where the safe is. My place was broken into." He added that the flashiest piece he owned — a diamond luxury watch — had been stolen. "The thief stole that watch and then put it on consignment at a watch shop I frequent," he explained. A friend who happened to visit that shop spotted the exact same watch, which cracked the case open.

"A friend who owns the same model went to the shop and told me, 'They have a watch just like ours,'" Simon Dominic recalled. "I went and tried it on myself — it fit my wrist perfectly. They also said there were no extra bracelet links. In that moment, I knew it was mine." He immediately reported it to the police. "At 10 a.m. on Christmas Eve, as soon as the shop opened, I went there with the police," he said. "We checked the CCTV, and the culprit had even left a photocopy of their ID, so they were caught right away."

Although he recovered the stolen watch, Simon Dominic said he later sold it. "It felt like it carried bad energy because it had been stolen, so I sold it right away," he added.

He also shared how the incident changed him. "Since then, I hardly ever film at home," he admitted. "Even if people ask to see expensive things, I can't show them anymore. It's hard to trust people easily now," he said candidly.
