Former NewJeans member Danielle has drawn attention after reportedly taking part in a half marathon held in Australia.

Recently, sightings and photos posted on an online community claimed that Danielle ran the '2026 China Airlines Half Marathon' in Australia's Gold Coast.

In the released photos, Danielle, wearing pink running gear, flashes a bright smile as she races. She reportedly completed the roughly 21 km course in 1 hour 49 minutes and 13 seconds.

This update is making even bigger waves as it comes amid Danielle's high-stakes legal battle with former agency ADOR, reportedly worth hundreds of billions of won.

Currently, ADOR has filed a lawsuit against Danielle seeking liquidated damages and compensation. At a recent hearing, the company said it had adjusted the claim from about 43.09 billion won to about 33.09 billion won. During the proceedings, ADOR submitted materials suggesting that, after terminating her exclusive contract, Danielle discussed collaborations with overseas artists, while Danielle's side maintains the termination was carried out lawfully.
