TVING's original drama Yumi's Cells Season 3 sparked a hot response after its premiere on the 13th, but episode 2's tvN broadcast saw a slight ratings drop.

According to Nielsen Korea on the 15th, episode 2 of tvN and TVING's Monday–Tuesday original Yumi's Cells Season 3, which aired the previous day, posted a 1.7% viewership rating (nationwide pay TV households, Nielsen data). That's down 0.6 percentage points from episode 1's 2.3%.

However, the early release of episodes 1–2 on TVING likely played a role in the linear ratings dip.

This final chapter heads toward a conclusion, zeroing in on Yumi (played by Go-eun Kim) and her shifting emotions. After growing through past love and breakups, Yumi now appears as an "adult Yumi" who has closed off her feelings — a turn that's grabbing viewers' attention. Her change also shakes up the Cell Village: the Emotion Cells have vanished while the Writer Cell's influence has surged. In particular, Yumi's everyday life hits a turning point with the arrival of Shin Soon-rok (played by Jae-won Kim).

As Yumi's long-dormant True Feelings Cell wakes up, anticipation is rising over how Yumi and Soon-rok's romance will unfold in Yumi's Cells Season 3. The series drops two new episodes every Monday at 6 p.m. on TVING, and airs on tvN at 8:50 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays.
