According to YG Entertainment on April 16, the milestone was reached at approximately 4:12 p.m. the previous day.
This marks the group’s 10th music video to exceed 1 billion views, the highest among K-pop artists.
‘Ice Cream’ is a pop track featuring a bright and upbeat sound, and includes a collaboration with Selena Gomez.
The song is part of BLACKPINK’s first full-length album 'The Album,' which reached No. 2 on both the Billboard 200 and the UK Official Albums Chart.
BLACKPINK has released multiple videos exceeding 100 million views, and their official YouTube channel has surpassed 100 million subscribers.
