Recently, Kep1er’s official YouTube channel released content featuring Choi Yujin, Xiaoting, and Kim Chaehyun taking on ballet. In the video, the trio joined a ballet class and showed a different kind of charm. Under the instructor’s guidance, they worked through basic moves, stretching, and even advanced techniques. Their visible struggles with difficult poses drew laughs.
But after the upload, some viewers zeroed in on Kim Chaehyun’s outfit. Compared to the others, her leotard emphasized her upper body line more, prompting concerns about exposure, and online criticism even targeted the styling staff.
As the debate grew, Kim Chaehyun personally offered an explanation on a fan communication platform. She said, "The outfit wasn’t chosen by staff — I picked it myself," adding, "When I think of ballet, I think of pink, and I wanted to wear something pretty that fit that image." She continued, "I thought people would like it, so I was surprised by the reaction."
She added, "I understand fans’ concerns, but I also want to wear pretty outfits," and, "I’ll coordinate better next time. I hope no one gets too upset."
