Shocking update: Yeji of ITZY has been diagnosed with a lumbar herniated disc.

On May 5, agency JYP Entertainment stated, "Yeji recently visited the hospital due to back pain. After a thorough examination, she was diagnosed with a herniated disc and received a specialist’s opinion that she must minimize any movements that could strain her lower back."

The agency continued, "Accordingly, choreography and other stage performances will be limited during the 'ITZY 3RD WORLD TOUR TUNNEL VISION in JAPAN' on May 9–10, 2026," adding, "In line with the artist’s strong will, she will participate as much as possible within safe limits to meet fans."

They also apologized: "We sincerely apologize to fans who have been waiting for Yeji’s stage for the sudden news. We will prioritize the artist’s health and do our utmost to ensure sufficient treatment and recovery."

Meanwhile, ITZY will release their new mini album 'Motto' on the 18th and make their comeback. The group is currently meeting fans through their 3rd world tour 'TUNNEL VISION'.
