BTS ignited Mexico City with a massive three-night run that drew an estimated 150,000 fans and sent the city into overdrive.
On May 7 and 9–10 (local time), BTS staged the 'BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG IN MEXICO CITY' at Estadio GNP Seguros, delivering a history-making return.
With roughly 150,000 attendees across the shows, this marked their first full-group solo concerts in Mexico in about 10 years and 10 months since July 2015. All three dates sold out instantly, proving explosive local demand. In response, Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum even sent an official letter to President Lee Jae-myung of Korea requesting additional tour dates.
Authorities estimated that about 35,000 fans without tickets gathered outside the stadium on the second and third nights.
From the stage, the members told fans, “You were truly the best,” and promised, “We will definitely come back to Mexico.” They added that they would never forget the heat that stretched from Zócalo Square and expressed their gratitude in Spanish, taking home cherished memories of Mexico.
BTS is set to continue the tour on May 16–17 and 19 at Stanford Stadium in San Francisco, United States.
