Ahead of its 2026 season opening, the musical Niccolò Paganini unleashed concept posters that distill its deep, dark universe — and hype is skyrocketing.

On the 18th, producer HJ Culture unveiled the concept posters for Niccolò Paganini. With cross-shaped spotlight silhouettes and bold, color-coded character schemes, the visuals collide religion, art, and raw human desire — perfectly capturing the show’s core emotions at a glance. Each cast member compresses a multi-layered backstory into a single frame through carefully chosen props and powerful expressions.

First, the actors portraying the tragic genius violinist Niccolò Paganini radiate different shades of solitude under icy blue tones. KoN pierces into the tormented artist’s inner world with a restrained gaze, Hong Seok-gi underscores Paganini’s rebellious streak with a twisted angle and steely eyes, and Hong Joochan adds weight with a steadfast stare brimming with conviction.

Opposing him, the priest Lucio Amos — the man who drives Paganini to ruin — burns with fierce conviction under blood-red lighting. Kim Jong-gu projects the authority of faith with a composed pose clutching a rosary, Kim Kyung-soo creates suffocating tension as he looks downward while holding a Bible, and Yoon Hyoung-ryeol completes an uncompromising figure with razor-sharp eyes and audacious gestures.

The embodiment of greed and ambition, Collin Bonnaire, comes alive in sculpted detail under green tones. Lee Jun-hyuk reveals a calculating side with a subtle smile, Hwang Min-su highlights the character’s unrestrained drive with a relaxed pose, Jo Hoon emphasizes relentlessness with a cold gaze, and Lee Seung-jun cleverly suggests a secretive nature by fidgeting with a ring.

The actors playing Achille capture a narrative where warmth meets loneliness beneath yellow lights. Shin Su-bin channels a relentless pursuit of truth with determined eyes, Lee Se-heon conveys the character’s desolate inner world with solitary glances, and Park Joo-hyuk delivers unwavering resolve with a direct, unflinching look.

Charlotte de Bernier — the steadfast presence by Paganini’s side — elevates the show’s lyricism amid a blend of purple and pink. Yoo Joo-yeon delicately unpacks the character’s emotions with an earnest gaze, while An Rina embodies a warm yet strong presence with a gentle smile.

Niccolò Paganini draws from a shocking true story: after Paganini’s death in 1840, rumors that he had “sold his soul to the devil” led the Church to refuse his burial. This season once again promises a stage powered by a seven-piece live band and explosive actor-musician performances — including a spine-tingling solo of ‘La Campanella’ that’s set to leave a lasting mark.

As soon as the new posters dropped, fans reacted hotly: “This season’s posters are insane,” “You can feel every character’s backstory just from the visuals,” and “The priest visuals are unreal.”

Returning with an upgraded production, Niccolò Paganini will run from June 20 to August 30 at the Hongik University Daehangno Art Center Grand Theater.
