Former MBLAQ member Lee Joon laid everything bare — from a web variety show mishap to the viral 'Catch Catch' moment at a baseball game — and Yoo Jae-suk’s brutally honest, reality-check advice is stealing the spotlight.

On the May 27 episode of tvN’s variety show You Quiz on the Block, Lee Joon — now going viral again thanks to a cheerleading fancam — joined as a guest and opened up about a range of topics.

Addressing the 'Catch Catch' challenge by singer Choi Yena, Lee Joon shared a cautious stance. He said, "I only did it because I was asked," adding, "Since it isn’t my song, I’m not sure if it’s okay to keep doing it. I worry it might come off as rude."

Yoo Jae-suk weighed in with his trademark, matter-of-fact humor: "The moment you cross a line, people might react with 'Why is he overdoing it?'" He advised that over-the-top reactions can easily backfire. He continued, "The more praise you get, the more careful you need to be. If you get drunk on that hype, you could end up all alone," offering wisdom drawn from experience.

Lee Joon also revisited the past controversy over his comments about currency value. He explained, "It was the early days of my web show appearances and my first time as a solo MC, so I felt pressured to say something — anything," adding, "My intention was that people who work hard should be paid more, but it was misunderstood."

He went on, "The production staff suggested editing it out, saying it could become an issue, but I said, 'Let’s air it as is.' I thought it was okay to take the heat if it was for the program." However, after the content dropped, the backlash was far stronger than expected, and it became a heavy burden.

"It would die down and then flare up again, and that was tough. I barely slept properly for almost a year," he confessed, revealing the emotional toll. Still, he added, "People now say I ‘work hard,’ but honestly, I’ve always given everything I have."

Lee Joon’s candid reflections — from an old fiasco to his current resurgence — and Yoo Jae-suk’s grounded advice resonated deeply with viewers.
