BTS is turning up the heat in Indonesia and the Philippines, adding one show each to their blockbuster 'ARIRANG' world tour and pushing the total to 88 dates.
On the 17th, BTS announced via the global fan platform Weverse that they will add one performance each in Jakarta, Indonesia, and Bulacan, Philippines, to the 'ARIRANG' world tour.
With the update, the tour now spans 88 shows.
In Jakarta, BTS will perform at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium on December 26–27 (all dates local time), with an additional show on the 29th. Likewise, in Bulacan, the group was initially slated for March 13–14 at Philippine Sports Stadium, but a March 16 date has been added, giving local fans another chance to see them live.
This world tour is the largest single tour ever by a K-pop act, covering Korea, North America, Europe, South America, Asia, and Oceania, and is drawing massive global attention. Additional dates in Japan and the Middle East will also be revealed, signaling even more growth ahead.
Meanwhile, BTS will kick off their Europe leg with shows in Madrid, Spain, on June 26–27. The European run spans five cities with 10 shows in total, and every ticket has already sold out.
