Special-forces–turned TV personality Dex melted at a single word from actress Kim Hye-yoon — and the moment is going viral.

On the April 16 broadcast of the tvN variety show Eonnine Sanjijiksong in Calape, the first meeting of the four cast members — Yum Jung Ah, Park Joon-myeon, Dex, and Kim Hye-yoon — kicked off their trip to Bohol, Philippines. Rejoining after some time away, Dex shared a warm reunion with Yum Jung Ah and Park Joon-myeon, who greeted him with, "You’ve gotten even more handsome lately." Dex amped up the mood with his signature playful charm.

When new member Kim Hye-yoon arrived, the energy spiked. After confirming Kim was born in 1996, Dex immediately joked, "Oh, so you’re a ’96?" subtly highlighting that he’s a year older and playfully trying to establish the pecking order, cracking everyone up. Yum Jung Ah burst into laughter, saying, "He’s organizing the ranks already," while Park Joon-myeon teased, "He’s happy to finally have a younger member."

But Dex’s real reaction exploded at one simple line from Kim. When Kim said, "I don’t think I’ve done as many variety shows as oppa," Dex stopped in his tracks, repeating, "Oppa?" before breaking into laughter. He then joked, "What was the rest of that? All I heard was oppa," sending the set into hysterics.

Even after that, Dex couldn’t hide his excitement, saying, "I’m finally being called oppa," as he naturally approached Kim with, "Yoon-ah, nice to meet you," keeping the friendly vibes going. Yum Jung Ah playfully reined him in: "You’re loving this a little too much, aren’t you?"

Dex explained why it hit so hard: "I’m always surrounded by guys, so I only ever hear ‘hyung-nim.’ That’s why the word ‘oppa’ feels extra special to me," he admitted, drawing attention.

Toward the end, Yum Jung Ah joked about Dex and Kim’s chemistry: "This is totally like ‘Single’s Inferno,’" to which Kim shot back, "Please stop watching so much variety TV," wrapping it up with a cheeky, lighthearted back-and-forth.
