In a shocking turn, Girls' Generation member and actress Choi Sooyoung and actor Jung Kyung Ho have decided to go their separate ways after 14 years together.

On June 9, multiple outlets reported that Saram Entertainment, Sooyoung’s agency, confirmed the news, stating, "It is true the two have broken up."

The pair began dating in 2012 and went public with their relationship in 2014, quickly becoming one of the industry’s longest-running couples. Recently, however, they chose to end their romance, reportedly parting ways naturally due to increasingly busy schedules.

Earlier, fans noticed the two no longer followed each other on social media, sparking breakup rumors. After the split was made official, many netizens reacted, saying, "I was rooting for this couple" and "This is truly shocking."

Meanwhile, Jung Kyung Ho is currently filming the ENA romantic comedy Tempting Romance. Sooyoung is preparing to shoot KBS2’s new weekend drama Welcome Back to School, slated to air next year.
