According to BigHit Music on the 23rd, Jungkook’s solo debut track ‘Seven’ has crossed a cumulative 3 billion plays on the global music streaming platform Spotify.
This marks the first time a Korean artist has achieved such a number with a single track. Upon release, ‘Seven’ dominated major overseas charts, debuting at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and peaking at No. 3 on the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100, proving its worldwide impact.
‘Seven’ is a serenade about wanting to be with the one you love every day. It stands out for its blend of acoustic guitar sounds and UK garage rhythms. The music video also proved its lasting power, surpassing 600 million views on YouTube in April.
